Our founders, Kristian (Kris) McMahon and David Steer have more than 30 year’s industry experience and qualifications between them. Aside from their reputation for exceptional technical expertise, Kris and David are renowned for going the extra mile to provide their clients with the right solutions to:

Niche market expertise for customised, industry specific IT solutions

Both Kris and David have worked in the IT sector for a number of years and have each developed niche areas of expertise.

Kris specialises predominantly in the Retail (including Point of Sale equipment) and Medical/Allied Health sectors, where his knowledge and experience are second to none. He has worked closely with clinical application vendors, GP’s, AGPAL Accreditation Surveyors, practice managers and a range of allied healthcare providers (including dentists, hearing services providers and pathologists) for well over a decade. Kris’ unmatched expertise in this field sees him regularly referred to other medical and allied healthcare professionals.

David has extensive experience in the Corporate, Tourism, Sports, Defense and Hospitality sectors particularly in the design and development of the right IT infrastructure to suit the sector, the business and its clientele. He also brings to the table a wealth of experience in the selection and integration of innovative security solutions courtesy of his close working relationship with the world’s leading security designers and vendors. This experience is priceless to our clients as they always have the best and most up-to-date security onboard.

Proactive IT solutions that place the onus on us

Having worked together on many projects in the past, Kris and Dave identified a mutual desire to focus on identifying and delivering proactive IT solutions rather than simply providing a ‘band aid’ solution to a problem.

Both Central Coast locals, Kris and Dave joined forces in 2013 as Observe IT Solutions. Today the pair and their support team look after the IT needs of a growing client base on the Central Coast, in Sydney, Newcastle and in the Hunter.
